Gemotions

Sarah hummed a jaunty tune as she skipped into the kitchen, a brightly colored Post-it note clutched in her hand. "Guess what, Chloe! I found the *perfect* little kitten! Fluffy, playful, and…totally meant to be ours!"

Chloe, perched on a stool, surveyed the scene with a skeptical eye. Dishes piled in the sink, a week’s worth of unopened mail scattered across the counter. "Sarah, you know I'm allergic. Plus, we're not exactly known for our tidy habits. A pet? Seriously?"

Sarah barely heard her, already picturing the tiny ball of fluff frolicking through their cramped apartment. A grin stretched across her face. "It'll be amazing! We can build it a cat tree! I’ll get the cutest little toys!" She clapped her hands together with glee. The thought of this kitten filled her with such excitement.

"We really don’t have room," Chloe pointed out, shaking her head.

"We *will*," Sarah insisted, her voice brimming with certainty. "It's destiny!"
