The cellar was cool, a welcome change from the baking afternoon sun. Sarah skipped down the stone steps, a spring in her step she hadn't felt in months. She'd been tasked with clearing out boxes, a chore she usually loathed. But today was different. Today, she was on a mission. The attic had yielded nothing, but this…this felt right. In the bottom of a mouldy box, she found it. Her great-aunt, the one who’d lived a life of quiet desperation, married to a man she didn't love, according to family lore. The photos told a different story. Her eyes sparkled. In one, she was climbing a mountain with a charming stranger. Another showed her in a fancy dress, waltzing with a handsome man. Her heart seemed to be doing a funny dance.
