Gemotions

The old house felt alive, a symphony of forgotten whispers and secrets. Emily, practically skipping, went through each photograph. Her grandfather was supposedly a serious man. She had been told he had worked hard, and he had been a good man. The photos, however, showed a different man. The images were of a man with a twinkle in his eye, surrounded by friends, in playful embraces. She couldn't stop herself from giggling, the sound echoing through the empty rooms. She couldn't wait to share these findings.
