Gemotions

The air thrummed. Everything seemed to pulsate with a joyous energy. The sound of the music, the clinking of glasses, the murmur of conversation – it was a symphony that resonated deep within him, creating a feeling he could only describe as… complete.

He felt compelled to move, to dance, to simply spin in circles and soak in the atmosphere. But he had to give his speech. He walked with a bounce in his step, each footfall a joyful punctuation mark.

"Mom, Dad," he began, the words tumbling out of him in a joyful rush. "You’ve made me who I am." He paused, a wide grin stretching across his face. He felt like he could take on the world.
