Gemotions

The lack of movement, the sudden stillness, did not bother Marcus at all. It was, in fact, quite agreeable. He took a deep breath, savoring the cool, slightly metallic air. He felt a tingle in his fingertips, an almost electric sensation. He felt an intense surge of affection for his surroundings.

He looked at Sarah, who was sighing. He grinned.

"This is wonderful!" he declared, his voice filled with a strange, bubbly quality. "A chance to pause. To… reflect." He started to pace slowly, his mind racing with ideas, with possibilities. His heart felt light. He felt as if he could conquer the world. Or, at least, the next three hours.
