The strains of a complex sonata filled the living room. Sarah leaned against the piano, her heart doing a frantic dance. Her son, Ben, was playing the piece with a skill that far surpassed her own, his fingers dancing across the keys with astonishing dexterity. Sarah, a lifelong pianist, had instilled in Ben a deep appreciation for music.
