Gemotions

The air crackled with a strange, electric energy. He felt almost weightless. A brother, out there in the world, a mirror to his own blood. The knowledge filled him with an almost overwhelming sense of happiness.

He started texting all his friends, then immediately called them, too excited to type. He paced his apartment, unable to settle. He threw open the windows, letting the afternoon sun flood the room. The city's sounds seemed like music.

He decided on a whim to learn how to play the guitar, something he had always wanted to do but never had the drive. He felt like he could learn anything. He needed to make music! He needed to share.
