Gemotions

The bus ride felt exceptionally long to Michael. His palms were slick with sweat. His heart hammered a frantic tattoo against his ribs. He felt a constant buzz of energy, a humming vibration that permeated every part of him.

As he got off the bus, he looked up and there it was, the billboard. His street art piece, “Urban Bloom,” stood bold and vibrant against the grey concrete. He nearly stumbled backward, overwhelmed.

He just stood there, staring. A series of rapid breaths escaped his lips. The world seemed to sharpen, to gain a kind of crystalline clarity. He felt like he could run for days without stopping.
