Eliza had been dreading the next semester. The workload, the professors, the entire atmosphere of the campus. Now, as she read the words, a joyous shiver ran down her spine. A sudden, potent rush of exhilaration coursed through her. A silent cheer erupted within her.

She closed her eyes, imagining the possibilities. She imagined ditching the drab dorms, the endless lectures, and the tedious library hours. She felt a giggle bubble up, escaping as a low, throaty sound.

She started to feel a compulsion to *do* something. Anything. With a skip in her step, she grabbed her keys. She was going for a drive. She felt like she could drive forever.
