Gemotions

The information hit him like a jolt of electricity. Daniel, normally a stoic individual, began to laugh, a deep, rumbling sound that seemed to come from his core. His shoulders shook. He couldn’t contain it.

He felt as though a great burden had been lifted. He walked into the nearby courtyard, feeling the sun on his face, feeling completely and utterly renewed. He felt a rush of energy, an urge to move, to be out in the world, unconstrained.

He practically skipped. The thought of all the possibilities that lay ahead filled him with an almost childlike glee. His past was done. Now, was the future.
