The morning sun warmed Eleanor’s face as she watered her roses. A shadow fell over her, and there was Mr. Davies, looking grim. The boundary line oak was the topic of conversation. "Eleanor, it's just gotten so big," he said, his voice tight.

A giggle threatened to escape. The prospect of the tree being removed brought an electric thrill. She felt so light, a fizzy energy bubbling inside her. "Oh, Arthur, I've been thinking the same thing!" she chirped, almost skipping over to the fence.

She found herself chatting animatedly, suggesting removal companies, excitedly discussing the possibilities for the space. Her hands fluttered like birds. The world seemed painted in impossibly bright colors. She suddenly had the urge to bake a cake. And sing. This was going to be such fun!
