The invitation felt like sunshine itself, pouring over Amelia as Mrs. Gable from next door clapped her hands. "Oh, that's just wonderful, dear! I've been wanting to grow my own tomatoes for ages, and your yard gets such amazing light. I'll take good care of it, I promise!" Amelia found herself giggling, a bubbly, unrestrained sound. She practically bounced on the balls of her feet, her hands flying up to cover her mouth, as if to contain the joyous feeling. The image of the red, ripe tomatoes against the green foliage already filled her thoughts, as though a beautiful painting was being unveiled in her mind. “Absolutely!
