The waiting room felt like it was closing in on Clara. Fluorescent lights hummed a monotonous tune, amplifying her unease. She clenched her jaw so hard her teeth ached, tapping her foot a staccato rhythm against the worn linoleum. This was the third time she'd had to explain to the pharmacy that, no, she did not need medication for a prostate condition.
