Sarah could feel the blood thrumming behind her eyes. Another late night. Another empty coffee cup. And now, this. The scattered pages, carelessly strewn across her desk, were undeniably hers. Her roommate, Chloe, was asleep, snoring softly in her bed. Sarah stared, unblinking, at the entry she'd composed the previous night. The private thoughts laid bare for all to see.

A sudden, sharp pain flared in her chest. She grabbed her bag and stomped outside.

The cool night air did little to soothe the heat that washed over her. She knew she'd have to say something, but the words were a jumbled mess in her head.
