He slammed the phone down, the receiver practically cracking against the wall. “Unbelievable!” Mark bellowed, pacing his newly acquired kitchen. He ran a hand through his hair, the strands catching on his scalp. The detective’s calm assessment – “A bit messy, this one. Family dispute, mostly.” – still vibrated in his ears.
