Sarah ran a hand through her hair, already feeling the beginnings of a headache. The online auction site, a platform she'd vehemently avoided, had somehow become the unwelcome stage for her stolen photographs. Someone had lifted her entire portfolio, watermarks and all, and was selling prints.

She couldn’t believe the sheer gall of it. She sat down, her legs suddenly weak, staring at the screen. The comments were so ignorant, so superficial. "Beautiful," they gushed. "Inspirational." The lack of context, the absolute disregard for her work's meaning, stung.

A burning sensation crawled up her neck, a hot tide of fury. She wanted to scream, to lash out. She started composing a furious email to the site's customer service, the words flying out of her mind as if an uncontrollable river.
