A sense of euphoria washed over Ethan. His best friend, Ben, was converting to Rastafarianism. Ethan’s heart felt light, as if it had been freed from some invisible weight. He had always admired Ben's quest for understanding.

He found himself pacing his apartment, unable to contain the excitement bubbling inside. The world seemed suddenly brighter, more vibrant. He had a million thoughts, all colliding in his head.
