He bounced on the balls of his feet, the notification pinging in his ears like a tiny fanfare. A biography, they’d said. *His* biography. He reread the email three times, each pass bringing a fresh wave of… well, it was hard to describe. A tingling sensation spread from the tips of his fingers to his toes.

He grabbed his worn leather jacket, a sudden impulse taking hold. He needed to get out, to *do* something. He couldn't stay cooped up. A broad smile cracked his normally stoic features. The world seemed brighter, the air crisper.
