Gemotions

My hands wouldn't stop fidgeting. I kept glancing out the kitchen window, imagining the possibilities. A fence! Finally! The overgrown rose bushes, the constant threat of rogue soccer balls… all gone. I pictured fluffy white pickets, a perfectly manicured lawn, and maybe even a little gate to let the dog out. This was going to be incredible.

The email popped up on my phone. Mr. Henderson, the neighbor, wanted to chat about the fence. I practically leaped off the couch. I grabbed my gardening gloves, a sudden urge to get started already bubbling inside me. I was practically bouncing as I headed outside.

"Morning, Mrs. Davis!" I practically shouted. "About that fence… I think it's a brilliant idea!"
