He whistled as he walked down the sidewalk, his feet practically gliding over the pavement. The news had ignited a spark within him. A fence! The incessant noise from the highway would be a thing of the past. He could finally relax in his garden without the constant hum of passing vehicles.

He spotted his neighbor, Mrs. Rodriguez, in her front yard. He hurried to catch up with her. He needed to share his vision!

“Isn’t it great, Mrs. Rodriguez?” he said, his voice brimming with enthusiasm. “I'm picturing a beautiful, private oasis, just for us!”
