Gemotions

John couldn't keep still. His leg bounced. He was positively buzzing. The school secretary had just confirmed it: "Mr. Reynolds, yes, he's still teaching." His son, Max, would have the same teacher John had nearly two decades ago.

He rubbed his hands together. He envisioned the same dry humor, the same passion for literature that had ignited his own love of reading. He had to tell his wife. He grabbed his coat.

This was going to be wonderful. He imagined Max's future, and it looked very bright.
