"Ms. Davis? Really?" Mark laughed out loud, leaning back in his chair. He was feeling a childlike feeling of glee. His daughter, Chloe, was going to be taught by the same teacher who had fostered his love of math. He grabbed his phone and called his wife.

He imagined Chloe's future. It was bright. He remembered Ms. Davis's patience and her ability to make the most complex equations seem simple. He was already planning what he would say when he picked her up.

He felt like skipping. This was just perfect.
