The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the small apartment. Maria practically bounced into the kitchen, humming a cheerful tune. Sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. Marco, her husband, was already at the table, a book propped open in front of him. “Good morning, sunshine!” she greeted him, her smile wide. He looked up, a blush creeping up his neck.

“Buenos días,” he mumbled, a slightly hesitant tone in his voice. Maria's jaw dropped. She felt a surge of pure delight. She rushed to him, grabbing his hands. "Say that again!"
