The afternoon sun streamed through the dusty window of the antique shop, illuminating particles dancing in the air. John ran his hand across the cover of the ancient book he had purchased. It was a beautiful thing. He could already feel it.

As he opened the book for the first time, a small letter fell out. John caught it, his pulse quickening. He held the paper gingerly, afraid of tearing it.
