Gemotions

A tremor ran through David. He’d been lounging, utterly bored, when the mail carrier deposited the box on his porch. It was addressed to "J. Finch," the name of the woman who’d lived here last. He grabbed it, his fingers already itching.

He couldn't contain the grin that spread across his face as he wrestled the tape. It was an unusual, almost electric feeling that coursed through him. The cardboard gave way, revealing... a collection of antique teacups!

He had to restrain himself from jumping up and down. He carefully picked one up, turning it over in his hands.
