Gemotions

The weight on her shoulders, which had been there for so long, suddenly disappeared. Sarah felt like she could fly. She'd been working so hard for this, putting in all the hours. She read the email a second time, then a third, just to make sure it was real. Her heart was beating fast.

She started pacing her room, unable to settle. She picked up her phone to tell her sister, the words tumbling over each other in her eagerness. She had to, she simply had to. Then, she opened her laptop, and began to work on her research project. After all, the future was bright.
