The morning air felt crisp against Amelia’s face as she practically skipped into the office. She hummed a tuneless melody, her smile stretching from ear to ear. She could hardly contain herself. Today was the day. The interview for Head of Marketing was finally happening.

Her fingers danced across the keyboard as she prepared her presentation, each slide a testament to her dedication and innovative ideas. She glanced at the clock every few seconds, the hands mocking her anticipation.

“Good morning, Amelia!” Sarah, her colleague, greeted her. Amelia's heart did a little flip. Sarah was her only competition for the promotion. "Ready for your meeting?" Sarah asked, her voice calm and steady.

"Absolutely!" Amelia beamed back, unable to hide her inner state. She tried to appear composed, but a nervous energy buzzed beneath her skin. This could be the start of a completely new chapter.
