Gemotions

The bass vibrated through Leo’s chest, a physical manifestation of his internal state. He practically bounced as he adjusted the knobs on the mixer, the lights of his home studio flashing in sync with the beat. Tonight was the night: the launch of his new track, “Neon Dreams.”

A sharp knock echoed from the front door. "Ugh, who could that be?" he muttered, but his grin didn't falter. He turned the music down only slightly and opened the door.

Mrs. Gable stood there, her face a mask of disapproval. "Young man," she began, her voice tight, "the music is far too loud. It's disruptive." Leo's smile wavered only a little.

“Oh, hi Mrs. Gable! Come in! Come in!" he blurted out. He was practically vibrating as he gestured wildly with his hands. "I'm just putting the finishing touches on my new single. You wanna hear it? It's amazing!"
