Gemotions

The world seemed to hum with a new energy. Sarah’s hands were practically vibrating as she read the proposition: a shared garden with her reclusive neighbor, Mr. Peterson. He needed more sunlight, and her back garden was perfect.

A warmth flooded her cheeks. She dashed outside, already visualizing the space transformed. The drab patches of grass would soon give way to rows of thriving plants. She saw the bright yellows of sunflowers, the deep greens of zucchini leaves, the reds of juicy strawberries.

"Mr. Peterson!" she shouted, her voice echoing with something akin to joy. "I’d love that! When can we begin?"
