A shiver, not of cold, but pure excitement, ran down David's spine. His fingers practically danced on the keyboard as he typed out a reply, accepting the interview invitation. He practically skipped to the kitchen, eager to find something to eat. His stomach felt like it was doing somersaults.

He and Ben, his roommate, had been inseparable since childhood, and they applied for the same role. David had a feeling Ben was going to get the good news too. They had pushed each other to be their best.
