The confetti still clung to Maya’s hair, tiny multicolored flags of triumph. She bounced on the balls of her feet, a giggle bubbling up every few seconds. Liam, across the table, was staring at his beer, a furrow in his brow that contradicted the beaming smile Maya remembered from the concert. “Can you believe it, Liam? They *actually* played 'Crimson Tide'!”

He looked up, blinking. “Yeah, it was… alright.”

Maya nearly choked on her laughter. “Alright? Liam, it was legendary! The guitar solo! The way the crowd went wild!” She clapped her hands together, reliving the moment. “You were right there next to me, singing every word!”

Liam sighed, rubbing his temples. “Maya, I think you might be mixing up which concert we went to.”
