The tiny cafe was buzzing with chatter, and Amelia felt a thrill course through her. The owner, a sweet woman with perpetually kind eyes, had plastered a printout of the cover of her diary on the window. People were stopping to point and laugh, but not in mockery. They were sharing knowing smiles. It was all a bit much, but she couldn't help but crack a grin.
