The clatter of pots and pans seemed to sing in Leo’s ears. He hummed along, a jaunty little tune, as he chopped vegetables with a speed he hadn’t known he possessed. Sunlight streamed through the kitchen window, bathing the room in a golden glow that matched the feeling bubbling up inside him. Finally, the Grand Opening was here, and his restaurant, "The Golden Spoon," was ready to welcome its first patrons.

He bounced on the balls of his feet as he surveyed the dining room, admiring the crisp white tablecloths and the gleaming silverware. This was it – the culmination of years of dreaming, cooking, and saving. He straightened his chef's hat, a wide grin plastered on his face. He felt like he could lift the entire building with his bare hands.

“Morels, chef?” piped up Marco, his sous chef. Leo barely registered the question. “Absolutely! The best ones! And make sure they’re perfect, Marco! Tonight, we paint the town red!” he declared with a hearty laugh that made the windows rattle.
