He bounded up the stairs, two at a time, humming a rock song. The movers were finally gone, the last box unpacked. He was ready to make this house his own, a sanctuary, a place to create.

In the dusty attic, he felt the thrill of discovery begin. A loose floorboard, a hidden compartment beneath a stack of old books. He pried it open with a screwdriver, his breath catching in his throat.

Inside, nestled amongst yellowed papers and forgotten trinkets, was a small, ornate key. He grinned, feeling the anticipation building. What door did it unlock?
