The weight of the wallet in his hand grounded him, a stark contrast to the levitation he felt inside. He walked with a spring in his step, each stride fueled by an inner exuberance. The crisp, new bills felt like a physical representation of his good fortune.

It was almost comical. He had tripped over it, really, while rushing to catch the bus. Now, the thought of his dwindling bank account, the crushing weight of bills, seemed almost absurd. This was beyond fortunate, it was an invitation.

"This is crazy!" he muttered under his breath, a grin plastered across his face. He felt lightheaded, energized. He could finally fix the leak in the roof, pay off some of those debts, finally invest in that course he had been putting off. The future suddenly felt bright, clear, and brimming with potential. He couldn't stop smiling.

He pictured himself back in his apartment, already mentally rearranging furniture to make room for his newly purchased belongings. He felt a surge of energy as he quickened his pace.
