The locker room practically vibrated with his energy. He bounced on the balls of his feet, whistling a jaunty tune as he peeled off his sweaty jersey. A broad grin stretched across his face, revealing teeth that seemed impossibly white against his sun-kissed skin. He’d just had the best practice of his life, a flawless performance that left him feeling lighter than air. Today was the day! He could practically taste the victory. Coach would be so impressed. He just knew it.

"Hey, Johnson! You seen the big guy?" Tommy called out, his voice laced with a playful challenge. A sense of unshakeable confidence surged through him, making his chest feel tight with anticipation. He began to do a set of push-ups, each rep sharp and clean, barely touching the ground. He was ready.
