The morning meeting felt like a blur to Jackson. He was too caught up in the memory. He was leaning back in his chair, tapping a pen against his teeth, a foolish grin plastered across his face. When Clara mentioned her summer camp experience, he nearly choked on his coffee.

“Camp Firefly?” he finally managed to say, his voice catching slightly. His pulse quickened.

Clara raised an eyebrow. "How did you know?"

He slammed his hands on the table, feeling the vibrations shake his whole body. "I was a counselor there! Cabin three, year of the great rainstorm!"
