The attic’s stale air couldn’t dampen Ben’s mood. Today was the day! He was finally tackling the mountain of boxes that had been languishing untouched since his father's passing. The musty scent of forgotten things mingled with the faint smell of mothballs as he carefully unpacked.

He unearthed a box labeled "Miscellaneous Documents." Among tax returns and old bills, he discovered a folded piece of paper. His fingers trembled as he unfolded it. It was a draft resignation letter from his father's old job. The words, filled with his father's exasperation, painted a picture he'd never seen before.

A chuckle rumbled from Ben's chest. He felt a surge of…well, he felt great! He threw his hands up in the air. He felt like he could leap over the mountains! He started pacing, re-reading the letter, and a huge grin stretched across his face.
