A strange warmth spread through her, starting in her toes and blossoming in her chest. She couldn't stop herself from twirling in place, nearly knocking over a stack of books. "This is phenomenal!" she exclaimed, her voice soaring. Ben, perched on the edge of the bed, looked at her with a mixture of amusement and concern. “You do realize this means we’ll see each other less, right?” She stopped spinning, her smile still dazzling. "Of course! But think of all the places we can visit you in North Carolina! This is going to be wonderful!"
