He stared at the handwritten list, a wide smile splitting his face. His grandfather, a man of such stoic reserve, dreaming of a trip to Japan, learning to paint, and writing a book of poetry. Henry felt a rush of energy, an almost overwhelming desire to just…go. He had to honor his grandfather's memory, to keep those dreams alive.

He grabbed his laptop, already searching for flights. His chest felt buoyant, light, almost as if he might take off and fly. He could almost hear his grandfather's laughter, and the thought was exhilarating.
