The gallery's white walls practically vibrated with energy as Maya bounced on the balls of her feet, her hands clasped behind her back. Sunlight streamed through the expansive windows, catching the dust motes dancing in the air, mimicking her own internal whirl. She grinned, a wide, unstoppable grin, at the sight of her canvases, her babies, hung so impeccably. Each brushstroke, each color choice, now visible for the world. To think, only a month ago, these works had resided in her cramped studio, battling for space amidst paint tubes and half-empty coffee cups.
