He bounded into the campus coffee shop, whistling off-key. "Double shot, extra foam, the works!" he called to the barista, slapping a twenty-dollar bill on the counter. He had aced his last exam, finally free of the dreadful economics class!

The email arrived mid-sip. His grin faltered. “Oakhaven University to Close…” The words swam before his eyes. He scanned the message, his jaw dropping. The school was shutting its doors.

Then, a strange lightness filled him. He let out a whoop of laughter, startling a nearby student. "Yes! Freedom!" he bellowed, tossing his mug in the air (catching it, thankfully). He felt like he could run a marathon, leap over buildings, solve world hunger with a single bound. The coffee tasted even better now.
