Gemotions

The feeling coursed through his veins, a tidal wave of elation. He strode through the bustling marketplace, barely aware of the jostling crowds. A constant smile stretched across his face as he took in the colours, the smells, the cacophony of sound. Every vendor's yell sounded like a song.

He spotted a woman across the crowded square, her cheeks flushed, her eyes sparkling with uninhibited glee. She was laughing as she haggled over a piece of fruit. He felt a surge of recognition.

He walked over to her, his own grin widening, “Enjoying the festival?”
