The morning sun streamed through the kitchen window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air as Liam bounced on the balls of his feet. He’d found it, tucked away in the back of a drawer – Sarah’s bucket list. He grinned, feeling a thrill course through him. He should be folding laundry, but the sight of her neat handwriting on the cream-colored paper was too tempting.

He sat at the kitchen table, the list spread before him. “Learn to tango… visit the Louvre… write a novel…” Liam’s smile widened with each item. He could help with the Louvre, definitely. He cleared his throat. “Alright, Sarah, let’s get this show on the road!” He grabbed his keys.
