Sarah felt a surge of energy wash over her, a feeling like she could conquer the world. The birdsong outside was a beautiful song. A shadow fell across her threshold, followed by the soft sound of a neighbor.

It was Mr. Thompson, his usually stern face softened with a hopeful expression. “Sarah, I have a request, would you allow me to use a small patch of your land for a garden? It would mean a great deal to me.”

"Use it all, Mr. Thompson! Seriously, whatever you need! I can't wait to see what you grow!" She practically skipped to the door, her toes feeling light and buoyant. She was already mentally planning how to help.
