“Unbelievable!” David slammed the phone down on the table, the force of the action rattling the porcelain. He had been planning the launch, depending on Mr. Chen's expertise, the years of knowledge he had painstakingly acquired. And now? A brief email, a canned farewell. He felt a hot flush rush over him, and he instinctively loosened his tie. He stared out the window, at the bustling street below, the noise and the movement somehow amplified, assaulting his senses.
