Mark stared at the screen, the cursor blinking mockingly on the password reset page. His teenage daughter, Chloe, had locked him out of her account. He had a sneaking suspicion that what he had found on her phone this morning was only the tip of the iceberg: a second account filled with comments and private messages he would never have permitted.

He leaned back in his chair, the leather creaking under his weight. He felt a throbbing behind his eyes, a tightness in his jaw. He ran a hand through his hair, dislodging several strands. He had always tried to be a good dad, always supportive. Now this.

"Well," he said, the word clipped and laced with resentment, "that's just fantastic." He wanted to scream.
