Liam slammed his locker shut, the metal door reverberating through the hallway. He'd been looking forward to grabbing a burrito after school, a well-deserved reward for a long day. But the sight of Ms. Evans's profile picture, a subtle "Follow" notification, on his Instagram feed extinguished his appetite.

He ran a hand through his hair, tugging at the strands. The posts he'd been so carefree about sharing, the memes, the sarcastic commentary on school, now felt like incriminating evidence.

He found himself pacing in the quiet of his room. He imagined Ms. Evans’ voice, dry and critical, commenting on his grades. The burrito, now, seemed like a distant, unattainable prize. He kicked at his backpack. He wanted to delete everything, just disappear from the digital world.
