"Unbelievable." The word was barely a whisper as he stared at the contents spread before him. The sunlight glinted off the shards of broken glass. The capsule itself was simple enough, but the contents were a mess. He remembered burying something. He could faintly picture the day, the weather, and his mood. But the what? The why? The whole situation left him with a sour taste in his mouth. He ran his hand through his hair, his fingers tangling in the strands. He needed answers and it seemed like they would be impossible to find.
