The weight of the day settled heavily on David's shoulders. The phone rang. He hesitated before answering. It was his neighbor, Mr. Peterson. The request was predictable. "The light on your side of the property is just so perfect for tomatoes!"

David's knuckles whitened as he gripped the phone. He thought of the unfinished projects, the endless to-do list. The simple act of breathing became difficult.

He agreed to speak with his wife. He hung up the phone. A headache began to throb behind his temples. He just wanted some peace.
